Our Beginners yoga autumn course is going very well and we are half way through it. It is on at 8.15pm to 9.45pm on Tuesday evenings. Our next course will start on Tuesday 12th January 2016. A gentle introduction to yoga for students who are new to yoga or for people who want a gentle yoga practice. The class focuses on postures which will stretch and strengthen legs, stomach, back and shoulders. The main focus is on helping the student learn proper body alignment through the practice of basic yoga postures, with special emphasis on developing body and breath awareness. Each class consists of centering, breathing techniques, postures, relaxation and meditation so that at the end of the class the student feels alert, energised, calm, strong and flexible.
